Newborn daughter smiles instantly when recognizing dad’s voice, the heartbreaking photo is going viral

Little Antonella smiles the second she recognizes her father’s voice–that of 25-year-old Flávio Dantas. The beautiful moment went viral in no time thanks to a touching photo.

Dantas who is in the Brazilian navy talked with his unborn child each and every day. “He always told her that he loved her so much,” said her mother, Tarsila Batista.

Batista said a smitten Dantas greeted Antonella each morning and again after getting home from work. He stroked Batista’s belly and told his daughter how he would always be there for her.

On the day Anontella made her entrance into the world, she had a beautiful reaction to her dad’s voice.

After the delivery, doctors handed a sleepy baby over to her parents. And as Dantas repeats the phrase he had been telling Antonella during pregnancy, his baby girl smiles instantly.

“They put her on top of me sleeping and as soon as he spoke to her, Antonella opened her eyes and smiled,” Batista said.

Making the moment even more special is the fact that Antonella was born on Aug. 11, which is Father’s Day in Brazil.
