“Okay, sweetheart, I’m here now, and I will help you,” he said, trying to sound more confident than he was. “Can you tell me your name?” She slurred a few vowels, and at her third try, he managed to catch her name. “Ana, you’re doing great, Anya,” Damian said, taking off his jacket and placing it on the ground in front of her.
