Conservatives who once criticized the media for ignoring Melania Trump during Donald Trump’s first term will find an ally in Jeff Bezos as Trump begins his second term, according to reports.
In recent weeks, tech and business leaders have been visiting Mar-a-Lago to gain Trump’s favor after his 2024 election victory. Fox News Digital reports that Melania Trump is also receiving attention, as Amazon Prime has licensed a biographical film about her life. The film will be shown in theaters and available for streaming globally in the second half of 2025.
Filming started in December 2024, with Melania Trump and Fernando Sulichin of New Element Media producing, and Brett Ratner directing. Amazon Prime stated it will share more updates as the project progresses, adding, “We are excited to share this unique story with our global audience.”
The Independent previously noted conservative frustrations over Melania’s lack of magazine cover appearances compared to Michelle Obama, who was featured on 12 covers during her time as First Lady. Melania, a former model, addressed the issue in a Fox News interview, saying, “I’ve been on covers before. We have more important things to focus on.”
While she may not seek magazine features, Amazon’s documentary about her life has gained significant attention as interest in her husband’s presidency grows.
