Trump Humiliated And Blasts Biden for Making Transition ‘As Difficult as Possible’ — Precisely 4 Years After Jan. 6 Riot
President-elect Donald Trump observed the occasion of January 6th by blasting the man he will soon replace — President Joe Biden — for making “the TRANSITION as difficult as possible.”
Astute followers of U.S. history will recall that it was just four years ago, on January 6th, 2021, that Trump addressed tens of thousands of assembled supporters and encouraged them to go the Capitol building as part of a “Stop the Steal” campaign that culminated in bipartisan recriminations, a second impeachment, and smeared feces in Capitol office buildings.
January 6th was by any objective measure a very ugly day in American history, but not quite as bad as what Trump is alleging Biden is doing with executive orders on “the Green New Scam” and “other money wasting Hoaxes.”
Trump posted on social media:
Biden is doing everything possible to make the TRANSITION as difficult as as possible, from Lawfare such as has never been seen before, to costly and ridiculous Executive Orders on the Green New Scam and other money wasting Hoaxes. Fear not, these “Orders” will all be terminated shortly, and we will become a Nation of Common Sense and Strength. MAGA!!!
Biden has welcomed Trump to the White House for a convivial meeting and has pledged to attend the inauguration for his second term. By comparison, Trump refused to participate in Biden’s inauguration and baselessly claimed that the 2020 election was stolen. Trump’s behavior marked the first time in U.S. history that a president failed to participate in the peaceful transition of power.
While late-term executive orders certainly pose a bureaucratic and procedural headache for the incoming president, they are legal and can oftentimes be reversed.
