Fox News host Dana Perino strongly criticized President Joe Biden’s farewell address, saying it felt as if his “speechwriters had already left the building.”

During Biden’s Oval Office address, where he warned about an emerging “oligarchy” in America, Perino questioned his statements. She asked, “What was he even talking about? For instance, when he mentioned dark money, did he forget that just last week he gave the Medal of Freedom to George Soros?”

Perino also pointed out that Biden failed to mention the COVID-19 pandemic, which she described as “the core of his presidency.” She said, “He talked about his achievements, but it felt empty. It seemed like the speech was written by AI, and he forgot he’s been president for the last four years. If you ask people if they’re better off now than four years ago, most would say no—except maybe solar companies and a few others.”

Her co-host Jesse Watters reacted, saying, “That was harsh, Dana. Even Brit Hume isn’t that tough.”

In his speech, Biden expressed concern over the growing power of a few ultra-wealthy individuals, warning of the risks to democracy, basic freedoms, and fairness. He said, “An oligarchy is taking shape in America, with extreme wealth and influence threatening our rights and our future. The consequences are visible everywhere, and we’ve seen this pattern before.”
