The iconic blind mystic Baba Vanga, famed for her ominous prophecies of world events, has some chilling forecasts for 2025. Known for eerily accurate predictions, such as the tragic death of Princess Diana, and pinpointing major events like the 9/11 attacks and the climate crisis, the Bulgarian seer continues to cast a shadow with her visions.
Although she passed away in 1996, Baba Vanga’s words remain potent, particularly against the backdrop of current international strain. Her latest predictions paint a dire future for Europe and project an unexpected surge in power for Russia’s Vladimir Putin, who is said to be confident he is on the ‘brink’ of winning the Ukraine war.
She predicted: “In the spring, a war in the East will begin, and there will be a third World War. A war in the East that will destroy the West,” coupled with her statement that Europe could become a “wasteland” stirs unease. She even suggested Putin might rise as “lord of the world”, forecasting not just Russia’s endurance but its ascendancy to global dominance with: “Russia will not only survive, it will dominate the world.”
Sceptics may greet such prophecies with doubt, but with the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, her predictions take on a grim tone. This coincides with remembered warnings from former UK Defence Secretary Grant Shapps about the conclusion of “The era of the peace dividend is over,” signalling Russia, along with China, Iran and North Korea, as potential catalysts for immense global turmoil within the next few years.
While some have disputed the interpretations of her prophecies, the blind mystic has amassed a cult following who firmly believes in her unique ability to foresee the future. Having been blind since early childhood and only semi-literate in Bulgarian, she did not record her own prophecies, reports the Mirror. Instead, her followers took it upon themselves to document her predictions, later compiling them into books, reports Edinburgh Live.
One of her more alarming forecasts for 2025 pertains to natural disasters. After a tumultuous 2024 filled with storms, hurricanes, floods, and wildfires, Vanga predicts that destructive earthquakes and other natural calamities will wreak havoc across the globe in 2025. She specifically mentions an earthquake along the west coast of the US. The seer foresees these event,s resulting in loss of human life, mass displacement, and ruined infrastructure.
Additionally, she prophesied that 2025 would be the year we finally make contact with extraterrestrial beings.The existence of aliens has been a topic of debate for centuries, but according to Baba Vanga, 2025 will be the year humans finally meet these otherworldly creatures.
The mystic anticipates this encounter will occur under unusual circumstances, with the initial introduction predicted to happen during a major sporting event.
