Hollywood Celebs Who Can’t Stand Trump’s Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt — Guess Who’s on the List

Karoline Leavitt, the White House Press Secretary under President Donald Trump, has found herself in the spotlight for more than just her role. Since taking on the job, she’s faced criticism from celebrities and public figures, largely due to her outspoken and controversial remarks, which often mirror Trump’s own combative style.

One of her most notable clashes was with Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of *The View*. Goldberg didn’t hold back after Leavitt’s first press conference, where she declared that “wokeness” would no longer be tolerated under the Trump administration. Goldberg took issue with Leavitt’s comments, saying, “Let me explain something to you. Without that wokeness, you might not have that job.” Goldberg added that Leavitt’s remarks “really p—sed me off,” emphasizing that the press secretary seemed unaware of the true meaning of the term.

Joy Behar, another co-host of *The View*, also chimed in, suggesting that Leavitt’s looks played a role in her appointment. “She’s probably been put in there because, according to Donald Trump, she’s a 10. You know that’s what it is,” Behar said, implying that Leavitt’s qualifications might not have been the sole reason for her hiring.

Leavitt’s confrontational style has also put her at odds with other celebrities. Selena Gomez became a target after she posted a heartfelt video on social media criticizing the Trump administration’s immigration policies. Leavitt responded harshly on X (formerly Twitter), sparking tension between the two.

Another high-profile clash occurred after Trump’s March 4, 2025, speech to Congress. During the address, Trump named 13-year-old DJ Daniel, a cancer patient, an honorary member of the Secret Service. MSNBC host Nicolle Wallace criticized the gesture, calling Trump a “hypocrite” and expressing hope that Daniel would never have to defend the Capitol against Trump’s supporters.

Leavitt didn’t take Wallace’s comments lightly. During a press briefing, she called out Wallace by name, accusing her of “disgustingly” involving a young boy with brain cancer in a political attack. Leavitt argued that Wallace and other Democrats were letting their dislike of Trump cloud their judgment.

Trump himself weighed in, calling for Wallace to be fired from MSNBC. “She’s not very talented—but I’ll tell you, what she said the other day about that young man is disgraceful,” Trump told reporters.

Leavitt’s combative approach and willingness to engage in public spats have made her a polarizing figure. While she has supporters who appreciate her loyalty to Trump, her clashes with celebrities and media personalities have earned her plenty of critics. Whether she’s defending the administration or firing back at detractors, Leavitt continues to make headlines—for better or worse.
