Trump’s niece issues chilling warning to the US as she explains why he’ll want to be ‘president for life’

Mary Trump, who is the niece of former U.S. President Donald Trump, has once again spoken out strongly about her uncle’s intentions. She believes that Americans should be very careful and pay close attention to what he might be planning if he wins power again.

Mary, who is the daughter of Donald Trump’s older brother Fred Jr., has openly criticized Trump many times in the past. In 2020, she even wrote a book called Too Much and Never Enough, where she described their family and warned about her uncle’s behavior and personality.

In a recent interview with The Telegraph, she said that Trump might not only try to win another term as president, but he may also try to stay in power forever. She claimed Trump has no real interest in stepping down after serving two terms, even though the U.S. Constitution makes it very clear in the 22nd Amendment that a president can’t serve more than two terms.

Earlier this year, Donald Trump made some comments suggesting that there could be “loopholes” in the law that might allow him to stay in office longer. When reporters asked if he was serious about seeking a third term, he avoided giving a clear answer. He said, “I’d rather not talk about that right now,” and added that while people talk about loopholes, he doesn’t believe in using them—even though he brought them up himself.

Mary responded to those remarks by saying she believes Trump is definitely thinking about staying in power permanently. She said, “It’s not really about whether he’ll run again. The real question is whether he’ll leave if he wins. I can easily see him declaring himself ‘president for life’ and daring anyone to try and remove him.”

She warned that Trump already knows it would be extremely difficult for anyone to get him out of office if he refuses to leave voluntarily. She also said the deeper problem is that the U.S. has been heading in this direction for decades, and Trump is simply the end result of many years of decline in the Republican Party’s values and actions.

Mary also criticized the Democratic Party, especially President Joe Biden’s administration, saying they didn’t take the threat of a second Trump presidency seriously enough. She said, “The Democrats failed to rise to the moment. They didn’t even understand the moment. One of my biggest issues with the Biden administration is that they didn’t expect Trump to come back, and they didn’t prepare for it. That failure comes from being too comfortable and from not understanding how frustrated many people in the country really are.”
