Mom Discovers Hidden Room in New House, Finds Creepy Photo of Little Boy Inside

A family moved into a home excited to make new memories in it. But their excitement turned to fear when they found a creepy hidden room in the house after doing some renovations.

It’s not everyday you find a hidden room inside your home, let alone one filled with creepy old pictures and letters from decades ago. This accidental discovery led to an entire exploration of who the past tenants of the home were.

TikTok user Kam Mee shared her journey of trying to get to the bottom of her home’s history, and its previous owners. She and her husband finally purchased the home after renting it, and they discovered there was more to their home than they knew

Realizing the Porch was Hollow
Her husband noticed that their back porch was hollow, and realized there was something under, concealed for decades. They decided to uproot the wood, and to their surprise, they found concrete stairs leading to a creepy old room.

The home owner felt like she was in an episode of “American Horror Story” when she and her husband discovered the stairs. She was expecting something to appear right in front of her, but to her surprise, all she found was a cold, dusty room.

At first sight, they recognized that the room was once used as a cellar. It had empty jars inside, along with some old pictures, an unopened Christmas gift to the tenant from the home’s “ex-owner,” and a letter dating back to the 1960s.

The black-and-white photo of the young boy looked innocent, until you take a closer look at it. The boy was sitting in a vintage toy car, but behind him was a tall headless man.

Exploring the Creepy Hidden Room
The walls were covered in several layers of wallpaper, and newspaper clippings from the 1950s were also scattered around the room. Of all the things that they found, there were two that caught the home owner’s eye the most: a photo of a young boy and an old letter.

It was a mystery that the home owner could not figure out. She wondered whether it was a printing error, or if there was something paranormal about the photo. She held on to it, hoping she could find answers to her questions

A Letter from the 1960s
The second thing that sparked her interest was the letter. It spoke about a woman named Joan having a baby, and how the pregnancy was as much a man named “Harold’s” fault than Joan’s.

It seemed the person who wrote the letter, assumed to be a woman named “Lucille,” was a sibling of Harold, and she was writing to her mother who lived far away. Lucille moved away from home to live with her brother, which angered her mother.

The letter tries to make the mother understand their situation, and convinces her to give the woman named Joan a chance. Ultimately, the writer longs to see her mother again, but she is unsure when.

Trying to Find Answers
Curious as to who the photos and letters belonged to, the woman decided to go to their city registrar to get more information on her home. Unfortunately, they had no record of when the house was built, save for a renovation in the 1970s. However, their records had no substantial information.

After all the discoveries, the home owners decided to renovate in full swing. This meant less TikTok updates about their discoveries, leaving their viewers wanting more.

In a much-awaited video, Kam Mee revealed that while renovating the home, they found jewelry under the floor. They didn’t know how much value the jewelry held, but planned to find out sooner or later.

Unfortunately, that was the last update fans received from the home owner. She no longer updated her TikTok, leaving people hanging.
