Nancy Pelosi is back in action after a recent health issue. The former House Speaker was seen on the House floor using a walker following hip surgery. Despite her injury, Pelosi seemed in good spirits and able to move around.

People online had mixed reactions. Since Pelosi is a controversial figure, not all comments were positive. However, some defended her. One person said, “She just had hip surgery. I don’t like her either, but let’s not stoop to insults.” Another wrote, “I’m surprised she’s walking so well after a hip replacement,” while someone else added, “I hope she recovers quickly.”

Pelosi had emergency hip replacement surgery after an injury during a congressional trip to Luxembourg. Thankfully, the surgery went well, and she’s recovering.

Pelosi’s spokesperson, Ian Krager, said she is thankful for the care she received from medical teams in Luxembourg and Germany. Pelosi also appreciates the prayers and support she has received and remains committed to fighting for quality health care for all Americans.

Although Pelosi regrets missing some planned events, she continues to work and honors the bravery of U.S. servicemembers who took part in one of the most heroic moments in American history.
