“Bannon Sparks Controversy: Tensions with Elon Musk Over Immigration Heat Up – Is This a Win for MAGA?”

Steve Bannon called the increasing tension between him, other MAGA (Make America Great Again) supporters, and Elon Musk about immigration issues “good.” He said that even though things are getting more heated, it’s a positive thing for the MAGA movement.

On his WarRoom podcast, Bannon responded to fellow Musk critic, Laura Loomer. He said it was “unfortunate” that the situation has become more tense and criticized Musk for what he called “abuse” against the MAGA base. Both Bannon and Loomer are against the H-1B visa program, which is used in tech jobs to bring skilled workers from other countries to the U.S. Bannon believes the program should be completely eliminated, while Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy (who supports Donald Trump) think the program should continue because they say there is a shortage of skilled workers in the U.S.

Loomer had her X account locked and her verification badge removed after criticizing Musk. Musk has also said that people he disagrees with in the Republican Party should be kicked out. He faced backlash after supporting a post that insulted American workers, calling them “retarded.”

Bannon has called Musk a “toddler” in the past and made it clear that he won’t back down on his position. He believes that the H-1B visa program does not align with Trump’s immigration policies, especially since Trump’s plans include mass deportations.

Loomer shared that she hopes to be reinstated on X and to be able to make money again after losing access to her account. She said, “It’s unfortunate that things have escalated the way they have, but hopefully I’m reinstated and hopefully I’m remonetized.”

Bannon responded, saying that escalation is a good thing. He said, “When we get down to it, remember they’re the ones backing away, and when your enemy is retreating, you should press forward.”

Loomer accused Musk of mistreating the MAGA base, mentioning the “retarded” post Musk supported and another post where Musk told critics to “f— yourself in the face.”

Bannon, however, does not think it’s abuse for Musk to call MAGA supporters names like “retards” or “racist.” He argued that the MAGA base is tough and has been fighting for a decade, so they can handle such insults. He also pointed out that Musk had said he would fight hard for his beliefs, but in the end, Musk gave up.

Loomer continued, saying, “It’s unfortunate that the MAGA base has had to endure abuse from the richest man in the world, being called ‘retards’ and being told ‘F-you in the face.’”

Bannon, however, didn’t see the insults as a big deal. He said that the MAGA base is “battle-hardened” after years of fighting for their beliefs. He added, “After over a decade of fighting, people in the MAGA base are used to it. It’s nothing.”
