We may never realize the little things we do for our children mean so much to them. Like walking your child to school. It seems like just an ordinary thing to do, but for Brittany Gayler, it meant a great deal. Brittany’s dad, Jason, walked her to school on her first day of kindergarten and someone snapped a photo.
Brittany was decked out in all pink and looks super excited to be going off to school. Brittany is now 18 years old and a senior in High School. She asked her dad to walk her to school – on her last day. You can see the two photos below!
Brittany posted the photos on Twitter with the caption that read that her dad walked her to school on her very first day and that today he walked her to school on her very last day.
It didn’t take long for the post to earn 64,000 likes and it was retweeted more than 15,000 times. People from all over the world saw the picture and left comments.
One person commented that more dads should walk their children to school. It is normally a task left to mom – but it is nice to see a dad take an interest in his children like this.
Brittany was also congratulated for graduating from high school – we all know that isn’t an easy task.
It is easy to see that with a dad like Jason, Brittany had the love and support at home to make her school experience a positive one.
