Don Lemon Claims That “There’s Nothing Fake About CNN,” The Nation’s Leading Fake News Source on Russian Collusion, Trump, and So Much More (VIDEO)
Perhaps Don Lemon should attempt a career in comedy after his time inevitably ends at failing CNN. His statement Monday asserting the legitimacy of the nation’s top fake news network was the funniest thing ever uttered on the channel.
Lemon hosted filmmaker Andrew Callaghan on his show “CNN This Morning” to discuss Callaghan’s upcoming documentary “This Place Rules.” The film will debut Dec. 30th on HBO.
One small part of the documentary focuses on Callaghan’s conversations with Proud Boys leader Enrique Tarrio, who is staring at seditious conspiracy charges related to Jan.6 riots. Lemon harangued Callaghan over his conversations with Tarrio.
The filmmaker did not take the bait and instead dropped this truth bomb on Lemon. From The Blaze:
“The movie’s not just about like the Capitol riot and all that,” Callaghan shot back. “It’s also about like media echo chamber and like the dangers of the 24-hour news cycle.”
“And how, I think, mainstream media — like Fox and even CNN — competes for views by running constant 24-hour news cycles based upon fear, division, outrage, and panic, probably to sell ads,” he explained.
This unsurprisingly triggered Lemon. He registered his disagreement over the Callaghan’s incisive commentary and then spouted this hysterical gem:
“There’s nothing fake about CNN!”

Move over, Dave Chappelle. Lemon is coming in hot for your crown as king of comedy.
CNN, after all, led the way in attempting to delegitimize Donald Trump’s historic victory in the 2016 Presidential Election with the Russian Collusion Hoax. The prevarication proved so outlandish that even Deep State Robert Mueller and his legal hit squad disproved CNN’s garbage.
Glenn Greenwald, a real journalist unlike Lemon, unveiled CNN’s three biggest lies related to the Hoax back in 2019:
“Donald Trump Jr. Was Offered Advanced Access to the WikiLeaks Email Archive.”
2.”CNN Explicitly Lied About Lanny Davis Being Its Source – For a Story Whose Substance Was Also False: Cohen Would Testify that Trump Knew in Advance About the Trump Tower Meeting.
3. “Trump Aide Anthony Scaramucci is Involved in a Russian Hedge Fund Under Senate Investigation.”
Beyond the Russian Collusion Hoax, CNN has far more fake news beauties on the record. The following list is merely a small sample:
They argued with a straight face that COVID would not spread at BLM rallies (this did occur).
The network’s Oliver Darcy in June 2020 claimed armed Antifa anarchists in Seattle were not armed. Another CNN reporter later refuted Darcy’s false pronouncement.
CNN said Trump ignored the Muslim community after the New Zealand mosque massacre in March 2019. The president actually expressed his condolences the Friday morning after.
The infamous fake news network asserted that during the George Floyd riots, Trump ordered Lafayette Square in DC cleared so he could have a photo-op. A Department of the Interior inspector general proved beyond dispute CNN lied.
The channel falsely accused Russia of hacking the Qatari government.
CNN spread the “hands up, don’t shoot” falsehood after Michael Brown got killed trying to charge a police officer.
There’s nothing funny about CNN’s lies. But sometimes lies can prove so absurd and journalists so clueless that they become the ultimate punchline.
Leftist Saul Alinsky wrote in his book Rules for Radicals that ridicule is man’s most potent weapon. Time to steal a page from the left because liberals like Lemon are so ripe for mockery.
