Donald Trump Fears for His Life While Chasing After Those Who May Have Set Him Up for Impeachment

Just a few days after taking away Joe Biden’s access to classified information and secure federal buildings because he said, “I don’t trust him,” Trump announced his next target: former Secretary of State Anthony Blinken. Blinken was involved in organizing the “Dirty 51” letter, signed by former intelligence officials, which claimed that Hunter Biden’s laptop was Russian disinformation. The laptop’s contents had been revealed by The Post.

Trump told The Post in an exclusive interview that Blinken’s security clearances would be revoked, following the same steps taken against Biden and the 51 former officials last week. “Bad guy. Take away his passes,” Trump said about Blinken. He explained that revoking security clearances would also prevent them from entering federal buildings.

Trump also plans to punish eight other Democratic opponents, including New York Attorney General Letitia James and Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, by revoking their access to classified information and barring them from federal facilities. Trump said they would receive the same treatment as Biden and the “Dirty 51” as part of his administration’s effort to hold officials accountable for what he sees as election interference or mishandling of classified information.

Bragg had prosecuted Trump in the “hush money” case, and James had filed a civil fraud case against Trump, accusing him of exaggerating his wealth for bank loans. While the move is seen as more symbolic than impactful, it could still make it harder for them to do their jobs by preventing them from entering courthouses, prisons, and law enforcement facilities in lower Manhattan, including the Thurgood Marshall and Daniel Patrick Moynihan courthouses, the Metropolitan Correctional Center, and the Jacob Javits Federal Building, which houses the FBI’s New York office. They would also be barred from entering the U.S. Attorney’s offices in Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Bob Costello, a former federal prosecutor who testified in Trump’s hush-money trial, called the move “more of an insult and a slap in the face than a real deterrent.”

Trump also mentioned other targets, including Biden’s former National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, who was involved in promoting the Trump-Russia collusion story during Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign. Another target is Biden’s Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, who oversaw investigations against Trump and coordinated the DOJ’s response to the January 6 riot. She was also involved in the Russia collusion narrative while working under President Obama.

Trump recently stopped Biden from receiving daily intelligence briefings, which are usually given to former presidents, before revoking his security clearances. Trump said he doesn’t trust Biden with sensitive information. He added that his administration has no plans to investigate Biden but noted that Biden didn’t pardon himself when he pardoned his son Hunter and six other family members.

Trump criticized Biden’s policies, saying, “It’s not good what he did to our country. All the work we’re doing now, like removing illegal aliens and finding murderers, is because of him allowing people into our country.”
