Elder Paisios of Mount Athos claims to have already made several accurate predictions.
There have been many famous seers over the years, who claim to be able to tell us what the future holds. Last year, a prediction made by Baba Vanga, the blind Bulgarian psychic, ended up coming true. One of the most famous seers of all time is Nostradamus, the French prophet who is believed to have accurately foreseen both world wars, and the nuclear destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Now, a Greek seer’s predictions are coming to light. Elder Paisios of Mount Athos is also known as the ‘new’ Nostradamus, given that his capabilities are reportedly just as powerful as the original. Here’s everything you need to know about a terrifying prediction he made before he died from cancer in 1994.
Paisios predictions were accurate
Paisios was one of the most beloved Saints in the Orthodox Church, and he made several predictions in his lifetime. He is said to have foreseen the war erupting in Ukraine, as well as the bloodshed in Gaza.
Given how much the recent events between Israel and Palestine have been reported in the news, Paisios’ predictions are being circulating again on social media. Some Greek media followers are convinced he is gifted and believe that his other predictions will likely come true as well. He reportedly said:
Palestine will become a battlefield, the Dead Sea will become a grave.
This will be the first half, but there will be a second half.
Paisios predicted World War 3
Paisios was no stranger to conflict. Having been born in Pharasa, Cappadocia in 1924, he later had to flee with his family to Greece. They were refugees, and made this move during the population exchange between Turkey and Greece. It is perhaps not so surprising then, that another of his prophecies focuses on war. Paisios is said to have foreseen what will trigger WW3: an escalation in the Middle East. He reportedly said:
The Middle East will become a field of wars, in which the Russians will also take part.
A great war will break between the Russians and the Europeans in Istanbul and much blood will be shed.
Given the current tensions in this part of the world, it is scary to think how easily he could end up being right.
