United States Congressman Paul Gosar (R-Arizona) revealed over the weekend that he and other right-wing lawmakers may intend to pursue criminal charges against members of the House Select Committee that investigated the January 6th, 2021 Capitol insurrection.

“Is there a chance that you guys could prosecute certain members of Congress, Congress, or former members of Congress over the January 6th riots?” asked Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson.

“I, I, I would not, uh, leave it just that. I think there’s also military that are involved and I think that there, you know, heads have to roll. Otherwise, you condone this, uh, lawlessness and that’s what America sees. We see lawlessness in Chicago. We see lawless on our border. We see lawlessness everywhere,” Gosar said. “And that’s part of the purpose. Precipitating actions that congresses is had allowed.”

Gosar also implied that he believes in a nationwide conspiracy concocted by high-level officials to make the country more dangerous.

“So are you looking into any inquiries, resolutions of inquiries into [Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman] Mark Milley or [Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro] Myorkas over their handling of our national security?” Conradson wondered.

“Stay tuned,” Gosar joked.
