Hospice worker approaches dying woman’s bed while she sleeps – then they catch his unexpected move on camera
A worker in a hospital decided to go ahead and comfort an old lady who was dying. Joshua Woodard, a worker at Austinburg Nursing & Rehab Center in Austinburg, OH, entered into a room where Mary, a patient was and began soothing her. He decided to sing for her the “How Great Thou Art” hymn.
The camera caught him singing to the old lady and when the patient’s daughter in law uploaded it on Facebook, more than 6,000 people users shared it. Also, there were many comments applauding him for the singing which was very soothing.
Surprisingly enough, Marti Adkins Redmond brought to light that Joshua knew Mary from the time he was nine years old.
On her Facebook page, Marti Adkins Redmond left a comment saying that formerly, Mary used to give piano and Voice classes, and that Joshua was her student.
Sad news is that Mary came to pass away, but the she surely was delighted with the way her former student sang to her.
