Kristi Noem’s Cell Phone Gets Hacked – She Blames J6 Committee, Calls For Attorney General Investigation
The Jan 6th panel “inadvertently” leaked out the social security numbers of almost 2,000 Republican officials and their family members.
This included Texas Governor Greg Abbott and South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem.
They weren’t even warned of the release after it happened!
Hot Air reported:
At least no one can say that the January 6 committee didn’t have an impact! Greg Abbott, Kristi Noem, Henry McMaster, and their families will have to guard against identity theft for the rest of their lives, thanks to the committee’s work in exposing their Social Security numbers.
How many numbers got exposed? “Around 1900” of them, according to the Washington Post, which came from White House visitor logs supplied to the committee. The J6 committee failed to redact those from a spreadsheet released to the public as part of its final report on the riot.
Ben Carson, a Trump Cabinet member that had nothing to do with the riot on January 6th, claimed validation from Ronald Reagan when informed his SSN had been exposed.
Not only did a number of Republican officials and their families — Kristi Noem’s children, for instance — have their SSNs exposed, no one warned them either before or after the release. Noem’s office pointed that out when asked by the Post to comment. Most others declined to comment and thus validate the data that the committee had published to a world of scammers and identity thieves. That also includes two federal judges and “at least a half-dozen people” who testified to the committee, as well as one of their attorneys.
South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem announced Monday that her cell phone was hacked.
She blamed the sham Jan 6th panel for this saying, “callous mishandling of personal information has real-world consequences.”
She called on Merrick Garland and congressional committees to investigate how the leak happened.
The Daily Mail reported:
Kristi Noem’s personal cell phone was hacked and used to make hoax calls, her office announced on Monday.
The breach, the South Dakota governor alleges, was due to the January 6 select committee’s ‘mishandling’ of her personal information.
Noem, 51, is calling on Attorney General Merrick Garland as well as several congressional committees to investigate the leak of not just her cell phone number, but also her family’s personal information like Social Security numbers.
…
‘Callous mishandling of personal information has real world consequences,’ Governor Noem said of the hack. ‘If you get such a phone call from my number, know that I had no involvement.’
Governor Noem is correct – there needs to be an investigation into how this information got out!
