Man Caught Pinning Down 11-Year-Old Girl Inside the Bush – What Happened Next Will Leave You Shocked

A man in Florida chased after and held down an 11-year-old girl because he thought she had thrown eggs at his home. The whole incident was caught on video, and police called his actions “disgusting and unacceptable.”

The girl was screaming, begging for help, and saying she didn’t do anything wrong as the man, 43-year-old Marius Mutu, forced her onto the ground. This happened on a Saturday afternoon, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office.

Mutu told police that his apartment had been egged a few times recently. When it happened again that day, he saw the girl walking nearby and assumed she was the one responsible. Instead of calling the authorities or handling it calmly, he ran after her, pushed her down, and held her there until other adults stepped in to stop him.

In the video, the terrified girl can be heard crying, “I wasn’t doing anything, I swear to God! Help me! Help me!”

Neighbors noticed the struggle and rushed over. One woman started recording and yelled, “Get off of her!” Then a man ran up and confronted Mutu, shouting, “Hey, hey, get your hands off of her!”

Mutu later claimed he just wanted to take a picture of the girl to show the apartment managers. But police didn’t buy that excuse—he was arrested on charges of battery and false imprisonment. He was later released after being booked.

Sheriff Chad Chronister made it clear that this kind of behavior is completely wrong. “The safety of our kids is something we will never compromise on,” he said. “This little girl went through a horrifying and traumatic experience because a grown man decided to play judge and take matters into his own hands. We will always stand up for our children and make sure anyone who hurts them faces the consequences.”

As of Tuesday morning, it wasn’t clear if Mutu had a lawyer to speak for him. There was no public phone number listed for him in Tampa.

Records show that Mutu works for the Tampa Parking Division. The city confirmed that he had just started his job as a parking enforcement specialist the week before, earning about $42,000 a year.

A city spokesperson said, “He has been suspended while we review the situation.”

The whole thing has left people shocked, wondering how an adult could react so aggressively toward a child especially over something as minor as eggs being thrown at a building. Many are relieved that neighbors stepped in quickly and that the girl wasn’t physically hurt, though the emotional impact of such a frightening experience could last much longer.
