A man was on his way to get married to his new girlfriend when he was bombarded by his children who demanded he give them money. They claimed that if he could get married, he could afford to monetarily support them, especially since his eldest daughter had been paying for everything on his behalf.

Weddings can get stressful, especially when things don’t go according to plan. For this particular couple, however, their stress didn’t come from planning their big day, but from the children of the groom, who claimed he was being an irresponsible father by getting married

After a man’s wife passed away, it took him only two years to find another woman to spend the rest of his life with. Throughout those two years, he abandoned his responsibilities as a dad and lived the life of a bachelor.

Unfortunately for him, his children found out about his planned nuptials, and they decided to pay him a surprise visit at the provincial municipality hall of Pasco, Peru, where he was scheduled to get married.

Adrian Chamorro had the shock of his life when he arrived at the hall and saw his four children there along with their relatives.

His 21-year-old daughter held banners alongside her three younger siblings, demanding he pay for his debt. They accused him of neglecting them after their mother passed away, as they had not received any money from him since.

“Don’t get married, take care of me!” one of his children yelled at him while he was on the way to marry his girlfriend. Although he tried to calm his child down, they kept demanding he pay for child support..

Things turned ugly quickly when blue paint was thrown at Chamorro, and his children charged at him. His suit, white top, and maroon necktie were all splattered with paint, along with his face and face mask. Police had to intervene to control the situation, especially since the commotion was drawing in quite a crowd.

Ultimately, municipal workers and law enforcement had to pacify the siblings as well as Chamorro, who was convinced to postpone the wedding to settle his issues with his children first.

Chamorro’s older daughter told her father how she had to carry the burden of caring for her three siblings without help from anybody else. What made it more difficult for her was that she was a mother too, and instead of simply caring for her child, she had to care for her siblings.

As it had become increasingly difficult to handle the pressure, she called for justice. Speaking about her tough situation, she said:

“I just want him to take care of my brothers. He doesn’t have money to feed them, but he does have money to get married.”.

Ultimately, municipal workers and law enforcement had to pacify the siblings as well as Chamorro, who was convinced to postpone the wedding to settle his issues with his children first. No news was heard from Chamorro’s girlfriend, who managed to get away from the commotion unscathed..

When news of the commotion went viral, people couldn’t help but feel for the children. While some acknowledged that it might have not been the right way to settle their issues, they felt the children’s pain. Comments on the internet read:.

“This might not have been the best way but I feel their pain. Since the younger ones are dependents, he should bear responsibilty for their well-being. No good father would be this negligent. He needs to do the right thing.” – Judith Drakes (March 21, 2022)

“Brave daughter, you go girl, your right this man couldn’t provide for his first family he sure shouldn’t be getting married again,he has money for this. Make sure you get what is owed you while he’s still alive.” – Billie Foltz Griesinger (March 21, 2022)

“I hope that Bride said “No…Go take care of your kids First!” Unless She (the Bride) demands to bring them in …in order for the ceremony to continue. Period!” – Jasmine Brown (March 21, 2022).
