When an older man’s wife passed away, he felt lonely but thought he would spend the rest of his life living in his house in peace. Little did he know that his own son would kick him out and make his life miserable.

Nicolás Chumbimuni lived peacefully in his house in Ate, Peru, until his wife died. While dealing with the irreplaceable loss, the older man saw his son’s attitude change toward him and his daughter.

The 90-year-old wanted to spend the remaining years of his life in peace, but his son did the unthinkable to turn his life into a nightmare. While most senior citizens his age had nothing to worry about, Nicolás fell prey to his son’s evil plans. The man had no idea that his son would turn out to be so insensitive.

When Nicolás’ wife fell ill, he allowed his son, José Carlos Chumbimuni, to visit her at his two-story residence. José lived in the first story, but his father didn’t know his intentions. Nicolás said:

“He said that he was going to take care of us, but it was a lie.”

The man stayed at his father’s house, claiming he was there to look after his parents. He hid his true motive until his mother passed away. Only then did Nicolás realize what made his son stay at his house for so long.

He Expressed His True Intentions
After losing his wife, Nicolás planned to spend the rest of his life at his house. His old age didn’t allow him to climb the stairs or walk without a walking aid. As a result, he preferred living on the first story of his house, but José wasn’t concerned about his father’s comfort. He had occupied the first story, forcing his father to live on the upper level.

José was ready to do everything to kick his father and sister out of the house, even if that meant harming them.

The feeble man struggled to climb stairs, but his son did not care. Moreover, José wanted to kick his elderly father and his sister, Rosario, out of the house because he claimed the property belonged to him after his mother’s demise.

“He is the eldest son, and since the house is in my mother’s name, he wants to keep everything,” Rosario explained. She witnessed how her brother’s actions changed after her mother’s death. His greed didn’t allow him to see beyond the materialistic side of things. He did not care about his father’s feelings at all.

José felt he was the sole inheritor of his mother’s house. He also believed his father had no right over the property because he wasn’t married to his mother anymore. Soon after his mother’s death, José began telling his father to leave the house. He shouted at Nicolás:

“Get out, old man!”

The Growing Threats
José was ready to do everything to kick his father and sister out of the house, even if that meant harming them. Rosario revealed that her brother gave death threats to her and her father. She added:

“Several times, he has made big scandals on the street and constantly threatens me with death.”

In hopes of driving his sister and father out of the house, José even threw stones at them. Even the neighbors saw him throw stones at the first-story window of the house.

He Threw Them Out
What José did after his mother’s death went viral on TikTok. Netizens were furious to learn that the man had made his father’s life miserable only to get hold of the house.

When a local news channel, ATV Noticias, visited Nicolás, they found him sitting outside his house with his daughter. Upon interviewing the older man, they learned that his son had kicked them out. He said:

“I want to live what is left of my life calmly.”

Nicolás had never imagined that his own son would turn his life into a nightmare. After spending his entire life in peace, he was forced to live uncomfortably. At that point, he only wanted to stay away from his son.

It’s sad to see how greed drives family members away from each other. We pray Nicolás finds peace during the last few years of his life, and we hope no father has to go through what he did.
