The Doctors “Bowed” Their Heads For This Boy, People Were Left In Tears After Discovering Why-Touching Story
At some point or another every young child dreams of being a hero of being able to swoop in and save someone who’s desperately in need but when a nine-year-old boy named Liang yaoi did the most heroic thing of all the doctors all bowed their heads for him but the reason why will make your heart heavy and your eyes filled with tears
Liang yaoi lived with his parents he was like any other young boy and loved running around playing games with his friends and generally having the time of his life he went to school did his studies and worked hard there was nothing overly remarkable about Liang one of liang’s most remarkable traits was his boundless optimism he always saw the good in the world and wanted to help people he never got sad or down about anything and was quick to cheer someone up if they were upset Liang was certainly a special boy.
It was rare to find a child so happy and content with the world and in a world so dark and terrible tool filled with nasty and harmful things it was a breath of fresh air to find the child that constantly saw things through the happiest and the most positive of eyes the boy’s favorite thing to do was to pretend he was a superhero he loved all the huge blockbuster movies starring all kinds of superheroes he couldn’t resist the Allure of an exciting action sequence and he even fashioned himself a cape that he used to wear Liang would run around and feel the cape waving in the breeze.
It was like he was flying he and his friends would invent elaborate storylines where they would have to save the world or Damsel in Distress and every single time the heroes would come to the rescue and save the day but one day his world would be turned upside down Liang started suffering from fevers and various aches and pains around his body he and his parents ignored it at first putting it down to Growing Pains but they persisted and eventually they took him to a doctor the doctor did many tests to find out what was wrong with Liang, but eventually some terrible news came back Liang was suffering from cancer his family were of course devastated but Liang wasn’t quite able to get his head around what that meant he had of course heard of cancer before and knew it wasn’t good but he didn’t quite understand the severity of the diagnosis.
But the battle was a long and hard one and one that would take its toll on liang’s body at some points it looked like Liang was winning the battle and the cancer was in remission but then at other times the disease would have a Resurgence and come back with a real Vengeance none of this was good for young Liang who was in great pain with the disease.
He was brave and strong though and remembered back to his days when he used to pretend to be a superhero he remembered that superheroes have to be brave and strong and ready to face even the most challenging of conditions if the superheroes could put up a good battle against the forces of evil then he could try his best to battle this cancer and so that’s exactly what Liang did doctors ordered that he go through various rounds of chemotherapy and radiation therapy hoping to remove the cancer and sending it into remission once and for all it was certainly a grueling and cruel treatment one that left Liang without any hair but he barely soldiered on not once complaining Liang had never heard of superheroes complaining when times got tough and besides he was always aware that the road to recovery would never be a smooth one.
Liang fought every day to stay strong and positive for his family he was a brave boy and even the medical staff that worked at the hospital commented on how tough Liang was and how well he was handling his cancer battle his family were not surprised by these comments though they knew that Liang had always been the most upbeat and positive child that they had ever known and if anyone could see the good side of something as terrible as cancer it was him everyone commented how strong he was to put up such a fight and prayed for his recovery.
but sadly Faith had its own plans for poor young Liang shortly after his 11th birthday Liang and his family were told that the disease had spread too far and that the treatments he was receiving would no longer be effective he only had a very short time left to live and the countdown had begun it truly was a dark time instead of treatments designed to cure him the hospital staff started to give him treatments meant to ease his pain and make him more comfortable in his final days .
it was all they could do for him now his family were beside themselves with shock fear and sadness but they put on a brave face for Lang surprisingly though Liang himself remained calm it was as if he was not scared of what evaded him and he kept this happy cheerful and strong attitude up inside all Liang could think about was what a superhero would do how they would deal with this situation and how they would cope against such insurmountable odds shortly before passing away Liang made a tough decision one that would prove exactly how strong and brave he was he he spoke to his mother about it and while it broke her heart.
she was also filled with pride at the conclusion her child had come to he wanted to be an organ donor and give his healthy organs to other people in need of them now what you must remember is that in China being an organ donor was not a common thing many people died every year because they weren’t able to receive a healthy organ when they needed it it was a shockingly high figure and a sad reflection of how even in the face of that people didn’t consider other people only themselves it was a real problem in China and not everyone would be brave enough to take such a huge step but Liang was different he wanted to help other people he told his mother I don’t want other children to go through the same pain that I went through it’s the only thing I can do for them Liang over the course of his time in the hospital had seen many informational pamphlets about organ donation and had to come to a conclusion on his own accord if he could help another child another family.
Then he would have done some good in this world he knew that his time on Earth was only going to be short but even at such a young age he could he could still make a difference shortly after he made the decision he passed away peacefully and painlessly his mother asked that the doctors respected liang’s final wishes and donate the whichever organs were healthy and cancer-free the doctors did so and took his liver and kidneys and transplanted them into seriously ill children who thanks to liang’s kindness and generosity could survive and pulled through from their terrible afflictions.
Liang might not have been a part of this world anymore but a part of his Soul and Spirit could live on in other children the medical staff were also touched by liang’s generosity that they gathered around his body and bowed three times as a mark of respect for the brave young boy they had gotten to know Lang over the past few years and became quite attached to him and his ever positive attitude no one was in any doubt how incredible young Liang was and how he would forever be remembered.
Several of the staff why five tears from their eyes liang’s Legacy was a positive one he was a hero to not only his family but several others too his selfless decision had made a massive difference to their lives and one that they could never repay no Liang might not have been a superhero in real life but in death he was able to save lives and bring peace and happiness to many families and at the end of the day that’s exactly what a superhero should do.
so now it’s over to you what did you think of this heartbreaking yet touching story how would you have felt if your child made such a huge decision that would change other people’s lives what are your thoughts on organ donation as always we love to hear from you so be sure to leave your thoughts and opinions in the comment section down below
