UFC’s Dana White is under fire for slapping his wife, Anne, after she slapped him on New Year’s Eve.
Dana White spoke to TMZ about the incident following calls for him to resign as UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship) president.
A video taken of the fight between the married couple shows Anne slapping Dana White – and Dana White responding with a slap.
It is unclear if there was physical contact between the two before the video was taken by a party goer.
The two have been married for more than 25 years.
Dana White said the two had been drinking heavily at a New Year’s Eve party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico.
You’ve heard me say for years, ‘There’s never ever an excuse for a guy to put his hands on a woman,’ and now here I am on TMZ talking about it,” Dana White said.
