“While cleaning her daughter’s grave, this elderly woman, Lauren, suddenly heard strange noises coming from the coffin. Just then, she crouched beside the grave, took in a deep breath, and what she heard almost made her have a panic attack. It was evening time, and the last of sunset was just a fading pale stripe in the sky.
Lauren, 70, carefully inserted the key in the door hole, locked the door, and began walking down the street. Looking up, she knew it would rain soon, but that wasn’t enough to stop her from visiting her daughter’s grave. After walking for about 15 minutes, it finally began to drizzle, but still, Lauren didn’t care.
She increased her pace as she headed toward the grave. By then, the rain had already mixed with the tears that were dripping down her sad face.
As she made her way to the tomb, her heart ached. It had been 36 hours since her daughter Crystal had been buried, and Lauren was devastated. The previous night, she dreamed about Crystal, and it was a scary one. In the dream, she saw Crystal in a place of grief and torture. Hence, immediately she woke up, she knew she had to rush down to the grave.
