Woman Is Dumped by Husband for Another Woman — She Keeps Caring for His Ailing 98-Year-Old Dad

The 28-second clip showed Corea’s mom tending to an elderly man with utmost sincerity, attention, and care. First, she helped the senior citizen sit on the bed and then put a cap on his head. Afterward, she patted his back with gentle strokes, not once feeling tired. Corea included in-lay text in her video to clarify who the older man was and why her mother was seen helping him. She wrote:

“My mom and dad separated years ago. My dad chose another. He is my 98 year old grandfather (my dad’s dad). My mom bathes him, changes him and takes care of him with a lot of love (sic).”

Seeing Corea’s mother tenderly care for and look after her paternal grandfather sheds light on her kind-heartedness. After everything she endured because of her ex-husband, nobody would have held it against her had she chosen to cut all ties and walk away.

The self-sacrificing woman knew how difficult it could be to spend old age in a nursing home, away from loved ones. She didn’t want her ex-father-in-law of almost 100 years to feel lonely and have strangers tend to his needs, so she put her differences and suffering aside and prioritized the older man’s health and well-being.

Corea’s mom understood that besides being her ex-husband’s dad, he was also her daughter’s paternal grandpa, and nothing could ever change that reality.
