Bruises first noticed on Trumps hand in recent weeks have appeared to persist and were seen during his address to Congress on Tuesday

A bruise pictured on President Donald Trump’s hand last week during a meeting with French President Emanuel Macro last week was still present during his address to a joint session of Congress a little over a week later.

Eagle-eyed photographers were able to snap an image of what seemed to be a massive bruise on his right hand during an intense handshake with Macron.

Journalist Aaron Rupar shared the image on X, alongside the caption: “Scrolling Getty and couldn’t help but notice this photo of a huge bruise on Trump’s hand today.” One of the replies read: “He must have had this same bruise for quite a while….like weeks, because there’s been a couple of other photos from about a month ago with that bruise on the same hand. But the fact it’s still there, is really concerning. As in what’s up with his health.”

People do generally bruise more easily the older they get, as skin becomes thinner and loses some of the protective fatty layer that helps cushion your blood vessels from injury. It is still unclear exactly what caused this massive bruise on the presidents hand but it persistence has caused many to grow concerned for the presidents health.

Despite this, people online are demanding answers, with many insisting that political correspondents in Washington DC should be pressing Trump about his health, with some even suggesting he should have to release his medical records.

In recent weeks, Trump has had a number of issues that have resulted in the public being concerned about his wellbeing – with many demanding answers.

Most recently, when playing golf, Trump’s legs appeared to buckle from underneath him, as he struggled to walk properly after getting out of his golf cart to take a shot.

The clip of him on the golf course has been shared widely on social media, with many people asking the same thing: What’s wrong with his legs?

As a result of these recent issues, it has been confirmed that Trump will undergo a health assessment to determine his status.

“President Donald J. Trump will complete his routine annual physical exam next month at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC),” a statement from Dr. Sean Barbabella, Physician to the President, read. “The date of his physical exam will be released publicly in the next few weeks.”

This comes after Karoline Leavitt explained that the recent bruise had developed because Trump had shaken hands with several people on the campaign trail.
