Drew Anderson, the star of Family by the Ton, formerly had to wear 18XL clothing due to his girth, but after shedding more than 12 stone, he now looks drastically different (168lb).

The reality star, his cousins Naomi and Chitoka, and he all weighed a combined 2000 pounds when they all appeared on the TLC show.

When the scales failed to register Drew’s weight of 48.1 stone (673 lb), he stated he was in danger of “becoming utterly bedridden.”

He claimed during his appearance on the program that he frequently felt like he was “in a fat suit” and simply wanted to take it off to get back to his normal weight.

He explained: “Even though walking hurts, I still have to do it because otherwise I risk becoming totally bedridden.” I have to stop this binge eating before it kills me, he continued.

In ten years, Drew hadn’t stepped foot on a scale. The scales couldn’t read his weight when he went to a doctor for guidance and just said to go see the operator.

The scale could only record a maximum weight of 39 stone (550 lbs), which is over 10 stones less than Drew’s weight.

Drew underwent gastric bypass surgery, but after shedding more than 12.5 stone, he no longer resembles himself (175lb).

The TV personality calls himself the “fat activist” and “obesity ambassador,” stating he’s “here to fight down prejudices and insensitivity towards the disease obesity.” He has shared his weight loss journey with supporters on Instagram.

Drew appeared in a photo showing off his slimmer frame while wearing a black button-down shirt and blue pants. He stated: “I’ve made great progress. There’s a reason why it’s called a trip. I used to be that, and I am now this. There will be better things.”

Drew acknowledged that his trip had “ups and downs” while talking about it. “One lesson I took away from this experience—and the entire journey—is that there will be ups and downs, valleys and peaks.

“You will experience moments when your efforts will pay off, and you will also experience times when your efforts won’t.

“Simply put, I’ve been getting around better and losing weight. It’s been going so well, and I just feel really good about myself “Distractify heard him say.

In order to reduce weight, Drew advised people to alter their “entire lifestyle,” claiming that this was the only way to succeed
