Charlamagne Tha God recently admitted that Democrats’ actions have made him question his belief that President-elect Donald Trump is a “fascist.”

On the latest episode of the Brilliant Idiots podcast, Charlamagne, alongside comedian and co-host Andrew Schulz, expressed frustration with Democrats since the November election. He even began to doubt how much of a “threat” Trump actually is.

“I never called Donald Trump a fascist because of anything Democrats said. I based it on things I heard Trump say,” Charlamagne explained. “But now, I’m starting to question it because of how the Democrats are acting. I’m like, well damn, maybe it’s not that serious.”

Schulz chimed in, encouraging Charlamagne to speak his mind, saying, “Exactly, they lied to you.”

Charlamagne clarified that his doubts about Trump don’t mean he regrets voting for Vice President Kamala Harris in November. He reiterated his support for Harris, saying he had backed her since her 2020 presidential campaign.

“By the way, that doesn’t change my vote,” he stated. “I still would’ve voted for the vice president.”

Charlamagne, who hosts The Breakfast Club, referred to Harris as a “friend” and reaffirmed his loyalty to her.

“Yes, I support the vice president,” he said. “Absolutely.”

Recently, Charlamagne has been openly critical of some Democrats, accusing President Joe Biden of “quietly quitting” and criticizing former President Barack Obama for being “too friendly” with Trump during the funeral of the late President Jimmy Carter.
