Being deployed overseas is never easy on a family. The brave men and women of our Armed Forces sacrifice so much for our freedom. Drew, a member of the Navy, was being sent overseas on an eight-month deployment.

He knew that his daughter, Pia, would miss him while he was gone (and he would miss her too). So, he made a special teddy bear for her. The teddy bear has a voice recording inside so Pia can hear her daddy’s voice whenever she presses the button on its paw.

One month after he left, his wife gave the bear to Pia. Her reaction is priceless! She is daddy’s girl through and through!
