Donald Trump Rips Lara Trump’s ‘Racist’ Guest Charlamagne tha God

President Donald Trump got angry with radio host Charlamagne tha God after Charlamagne criticized Trump’s performance as president during an interview on Lara Trump’s show. When asked to rate Trump’s time in office, Charlamagne said he wouldn’t give a good rating because struggling people are still suffering. He said, “Right now, people are hurting.”

That response triggered Trump, who went on a rant on Truth Social in the early hours of Sunday morning. He insulted Charlamagne, calling him a “racist sleazebag” and questioned why he’s allowed to call himself “tha God.” Trump argued that if he used a name like that, there would be public outrage. He also mocked Charlamagne’s intelligence, saying he doesn’t know what he’s talking about and suggesting he would blindly support Joe Biden or Kamala Harris.

Trump seemed particularly annoyed by Charlamagne’s nickname, but the irony is that Trump himself has made statements that suggest a divine connection. After winning the 2016 election, he said only God could have made it happen. At a press conference in 2019, he even joked, “I am the chosen one,” while looking up at the sky.

Around the same time, Trump quoted someone who said that people in Israel see him like the King of Israel, even comparing him to the second coming of God.

More recently, after surviving an apparent attempt on his life during a 2024 rally, Trump said he felt God’s presence and believed he was “saved by the hand of God.” He also claimed that God must want him to fix the country, hinting that he feels chosen for a higher purpose—even if he hasn’t outright called himself a god.
