Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s spokesman, praised Trump’s message, calling Giuliani a hero who had achieved extraordinary things during his career.
Goodman emphasized Giuliani’s efforts to reduce poverty, clean up Wall Street, and fight organized crime, as well as his leadership during the 9/11 crisis. He criticized the ongoing legal challenges against Giuliani as politically motivated and unfair.
Many other Trump allies and supporters voiced their agreement. Andrew Giuliani, Rudy’s son, publicly thanked Trump for his support and repeated the call to “SAVE RUDY!!!” Prominent figures like Fox News contributor Sara A. Carter accused Democrats and intelligence officials of weaponizing the justice system against Giuliani.
