President Trump recently went to the doctor for his first full health check-up since starting his second term as president. This kind of check-up is something all presidents do once a year while they’re in office.
Trump said the visit lasted about five hours and included many different tests, even a mental test to check how well his brain is working.
He had the check-up at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Washington, D.C. He told reporters later that he did very well on all the tests, including the cognitive one. He was proud of how he did and said, “I got every answer right.
He said he decided to take the mental test because he wanted to be a little different than President Biden. Trump explained that the test is well-known, and he made sure to say again that he answered everything correctly.
Trump also said that overall, he feels healthy. He mentioned having a strong heart and even joked that he has a “very good soul.” He seemed confident and happy with the results.
The full report from his doctor hasn’t been shared with the public yet, but Trump said he expected to receive it soon. The White House press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, also said they plan to release the doctor’s summary as soon as they can.
Recently, some people on social media started talking about Trump’s health after a photo came out showing what looked like a bruise on the back of his hand. The photo was taken during a meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron in February. After the image spread online, people began wondering if something was wrong.
In response, the White House explained that Trump meets a lot of people every day and shakes hands all the time, which can sometimes leave marks like bruises. Press secretary Leavitt said it’s just a sign of how busy and hardworking Trump is. She said he’s constantly meeting Americans and staying active in his role. According to her, it’s all part of how committed he is to doing his job.
