Dr. Jill Biden Opines on Chinese Spy Balloon Shootdown: “How coordinated it was, how thoughtful it was”
Dr. Jill Biden, Ed.D., spoke publicly on Saturday about the U.S. military shooting down a Chinese spy balloon after it had traversed the United States from Alaska to South Carolina. Jill’s husband Joe let the balloon traverse the U.S. for a week, spying on American military installations from from Alaska to South Carolina before it was finally shot down off the coast Saturday afternoon.
The Daily Mail’s Emily Goodin posted Biden’s remarks to Twitter, along with video, “FLOTUS talked about Chinese balloon: “I felt such a sense of pride about the effort and that our military, you know, shot down the balloon, how coordinated it was, how thoughtful it was, that it was decided to wait until it was over water so that civilians weren’t affected.”” (Jill went on to say that she and Joe pray for the military every day at dinner.)
Biden visited San Diego on Friday.
