Elon Musk took to social media on Thursday and made serious accusations against former President Donald Trump. Just hours before Musk posted this, Trump had made a public threat to end federal subsidies that benefit Tesla, Musk’s electric car company. This may have added fuel to the fire and triggered Musk’s harsh response. In one of his posts, Musk hinted that Trump’s threat was connected to his desire to keep the Epstein files out of the public eye. Musk sarcastically ended one message by saying, “Have a nice day, DJT,” clearly mocking Trump while using his initials.
The connection between Trump and Epstein is not new. The two men were seen together frequently in the 1990s, attending the same parties and social events. There are photos and videos showing them laughing and talking at Mar-a-Lago, Trump’s Florida resort.
