Elon Musk launches horror attack on ‘fraud machine Zelensky as row explodes

Elon Musk has launched a strong attack on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, calling him a “fraud machine” and accusing Ukraine of corruption. Musk claims that the Ukrainian government is using the war to make money while Ukrainian soldiers continue to die on the battlefield. His comments follow former U.S. President Donald Trump’s recent remarks, which also questioned Zelensky’s leadership and suggested he is avoiding elections because he fears losing.

Musk directly challenged Zelensky to hold elections, arguing that if he was truly popular among Ukrainians, he wouldn’t be afraid to let them vote. “He knows he would lose in a landslide,” Musk stated.

These comments have added to the growing tension between Washington and Kyiv. Recently, a planned press conference featuring Zelensky and Trump’s special envoy, Keith Kellogg, was unexpectedly canceled. Some believe this cancellation was influenced by the U.S. government, which may be reconsidering its position on Ukraine.

At the same time, Musk’s remarks have caused further division in opinions about Zelensky. While some U.S. officials, like Keith Kellogg, still describe him as a “courageous leader,” others are more critical, questioning whether he is truly acting in Ukraine’s best interests.

This controversy is unfolding as the U.S. and Russia hold peace talks about the war in Ukraine—without inviting Ukraine to the discussions. Many Ukrainian officials and European allies are worried about what this means for the future of the war and whether Ukraine will continue to receive support.

For now, Musk’s attack on Zelensky adds to the already complicated relationship between Ukraine, the U.S., and other global powers. His comments, combined with Trump’s criticism and ongoing peace talks, suggest that the political situation surrounding the war is shifting, and Ukraine’s future remains uncertain.
