Furious Donald Trump Explodes and Blasts CNN Reporter Over the Terrible Things Said About Him
President Trump couldn’t resist taking some final harsh jabs at Jim Acosta, a journalist he often clashed with, after hearing about Acosta’s departure from CNN. Acosta also had his final say about Trump during his last show.
As reported by The Gateway Pundit, Acosta decided to leave CNN after learning that the network was moving him to a late-night time slot, which is considered less desirable because fewer people watch TV at that time. Acosta reportedly threatened to quit immediately after hearing this news.
The show would have aired when very few people watch cable news. It’s worth noting that Acosta didn’t have many viewers to begin with.
On Tuesday morning, President Trump responded to Acosta’s departure in his usual bold and humorous style. He wrote, “Wow, really good news! Jim Acosta, one of the worst and most dishonest reporters in journalistic history, has been moved to the midnight hour by CNN because of very low ratings and lack of talent. I heard he wants to quit, which would be even better. Jim is a big loser who will fail no matter where he goes. Good luck, Jim!”
Acosta confirmed he was leaving CNN and told his viewers, “This is no time to bow down to a tyrant!” clearly referring to Trump.
During his final show, Acosta said, “People often ask me if the highlight of my career at CNN was covering Donald Trump at the White House. Actually, no. The highlight was when I covered former President Barack Obama’s trip to Cuba in 2016 and had the chance to question Raul Castro about political prisoners there. As the son of a Cuban refugee, I learned this lesson: It is never a good time to bow down to a tyrant.”
Acosta’s departure adds to a series of recent wins for President Trump and America.
