when a 12-year-old girl becomes a mother. Every girl’s body is different, so some may handle pregnancy better than others, even at a young age. But being a mom at 12 is tough. I know because I became a dad for the first time at 14.
Being a young parent was hard for me. Doctors thought I’d need help giving birth at 14, but my second experience at 18 was better. At 12, a girl isn’t ready for the challenges of motherhood. Even if she can physically have a baby, it’s emotionally and mentally demanding. I understand this well as the father of a 12-year-old girl.
