JD Vance’s Bizarre Penguin Suit Sparks Internet Frenzy—You Won’t Believe What Everyone’s Saying

The internet has been having a field day with JD Vance’s outfit choices lately, especially his recent appearance at the American C

ompass Fifth Anniversary Gala. He showed up in a suit and bow tie that looked way too small for him—like it had shrunk in the dryer or maybe he just grabbed the wrong size. The fit was so off that it didn’t take long for people online to start commenting.

One person on social media joked that all his clothes seem like they’re made for kids, while someone else said he probably shops in the boys’ section. Another person poked fun at his intelligence, saying the suit might actually match his brain size. People even compared him to a politician from the 1800s, saying all he needed was a cigar to complete the outdated look.

But the funny thing is, this wasn’t even the worst outfit he’s been seen in recently. At CPAC earlier this year, he wore pants that drew all the wrong attention to his height, and at Donald Trump’s inauguration in January, he wore a navy blue suit with a red tie and white shirt that was way too tight. He even posted a picture of himself in it on Facebook, which probably wasn’t the best idea.

His jacket looked like it was about to pop open at any second, and users didn’t hold back. One commenter sarcastically applauded the one button holding the blazer together, saying it deserved a raise. Eventually, Vance took the hint and unbuttoned the jacket for the rest of the event—but clearly, he hasn’t learned much since, as he keeps showing up in these tight, uncomfortable outfits. People are starting to wonder if he’s ever going to get clothes that actually fit.

Meanwhile, attention has also turned to JD Vance’s wife, Usha, and how much she’s changed since stepping into the spotlight as the Second Lady of the United States. She introduced her husband at the 2024 Republican National Convention by telling the story of how they never expected to be in politics, especially since JD came from a rough upbringing in Ohio.

Her own journey has been just as surprising. Born to Indian immigrant parents and raised in a middle-class home, Usha once leaned left politically, even being a registered Democrat and known for her more progressive views during her time at Yale.

Back then, friends say Usha wasn’t a fan of Donald Trump at all. One former friend claimed she found the Capitol riot on January 6th “deeply disturbing” and couldn’t stand Trump.

That same friend even assumed she would end up leaving JD over politics. But fast forward to now, and Usha appears to be fully supporting both her husband and Trump. One of JD’s close allies explained that Usha simply changed her mind over time, just like JD did. According to him, she’s all in on their political journey and wants to help them win the next election.

Interestingly, it’s been said that Usha actually wanted to vote for Hillary Clinton back in 2016. JD apparently told someone that Usha had planned to support Clinton in that election. But Clinton hasn’t been supportive of JD in return, especially after he made a controversial comment about “childless cat ladies.” In response, Clinton criticized JD for being out of touch with the struggles of everyday American families.

While JD has been stirring things up politically, Usha has been busy raising their three kids. The couple had their first child, a boy named Ewan, in 2017, just a few years after they got married. During the 2024 Republican National Convention, Usha spoke about how important it was for JD to become a husband and father, saying he’d always dreamed of building the kind of close-knit family he didn’t have growing up.

Now, they have three kids under the age of eight, and Usha takes on most of the parenting duties. JD even mentioned in an interview that she usually handles the kids at church while he focuses on his religious routine, which some people found a little unfair.

Usha has also made changes to her lifestyle since JD became vice president. Once known for her strict vegetarian and Indian cooking, she’s now a little more relaxed with the family’s diet.

A video online showed the Vance kids drinking chocolate milk at a diner while JD ordered a dozen cinnamon rolls to take home. JD has been open about how he grew up on fast food and processed meals, and friends say Usha’s food preferences are definitely healthier. But lately, it looks like she’s eased up a bit to accommodate the family.

Usha also left her high-powered job as a corporate lawyer shortly after JD was named as Trump’s running mate. She announced that she was stepping away from her legal career to focus on taking care of their family.

Although she said she wasn’t looking to make any big life changes, she added that she loves and believes in JD, and is open to whatever comes next. This wasn’t a total surprise to some, since JD had mentioned before that Usha’s mom had paused her own career to help care for their first child.

And Usha’s appearance has gotten an upgrade too. At JD’s swearing-in as vice president in January 2024, she wore a striking pink designer coat with matching boots and oversized earrings. Later that night, she changed into a sparkling strapless evening gown for the inaugural ball.

This was a far cry from her earlier public appearances, where she wore simpler, more casual outfits. Clearly, life as the Second Lady comes with a few perks—including a whole new wardrobe.

So between JD’s infamous too-tight suits and Usha’s dramatic shift in style, views, and lifestyle, the Vance family is definitely attracting attention—and plenty of opinions—wherever they go.
