Joe Biden issues scathing response to Donald Trump claiming he used ‘autopen’ to sign executive orders
Joe Biden has hit back strongly at Donald Trump after Trump accused him of not really being the one who made decisions during his presidency.
Trump claimed that Biden’s team used something called an “autopen” to sign important papers like executive orders, and that people around Biden secretly took control because they believed he was not mentally strong enough to lead the country.
Trump even ordered an investigation to find out if Biden’s aides lied to the public and made decisions in his name without his full involvement.
Trump called this one of the biggest and most dangerous scandals in American history. He said the American people were kept in the dark about who was really in charge.
According to him, Biden’s name and signature were used on thousands of documents, even though he believes someone else was behind the decisions. Trump also suggested that Biden’s team was hiding his mental health problems during his time as president.
But Biden didn’t stay quiet. He responded by saying the claims were completely false and insulting. He made it clear that while he was president, he was the one who made all the key decisions.
He signed the documents himself. He was the one who approved pardons, made executive orders, passed laws, and handled everything that came with the job. He said it’s nonsense to claim otherwise and called Trump’s accusations a cheap trick to distract Americans from what’s really going on.
Biden explained that this is just another distraction from Trump and Republican leaders, who are trying to pass harmful laws that would cut healthcare programs like Medicaid and raise costs for normal families.
At the same time, they are trying to help the super-rich and big corporations by giving them tax breaks. Biden said Trump is using this drama to take people’s attention away from those bad policies.
Recently, Biden also shared that he has been diagnosed with a serious type of prostate cancer. At first, Trump and his wife Melania said they were sorry to hear the news. But not long after, Trump changed his tone and mocked Biden.
He told people not to feel sorry for him. Trump claimed that Biden had hurt many people during his time in politics and called him “somewhat vicious.” He said Biden might seem like a calm and moderate person, but in reality, he believes Biden is harsh and ruthless.
Trump even said during a press event that he doesn’t feel bad about Biden’s health problems.
