A federal judge on Friday temporarily paused the Trump Admin from placing USAID workers on leave.
Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee said he will halt a midnight deadline for USAID to be reduced to couple hundred workers.
According to NBC News, the judge will enter a “very limited” temporary restraining order before the midnight deadline.
President Trump planned to drastically reduce the USAID workforce to a few hundred workers.
Thousand of workers were to be placed on administrative leave.
