Kari Lake Files Notice of Appeal in Historic Election Contest Lawsuit! – FULL Appeal Expected THIS WEEK
Kari Lake on Tuesday filed a Notice of Appeal against Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and Maricopa County election officials in her historic lawsuit to overturn the 2022 Midterm Election.
The Gateway Pundit reported on the damning trial that was heard in the Maricopa County Superior Court by Judge Peter Thompson last week.
The two-day trial featured testimony from expert witnesses and Maricopa County officials.
The Gateway Pundit reported extensively on Lake’s lawsuit and Superior Court trial.

As we reported, Judge Peter Thompson dismissed the lawsuit last Saturday, Christmas Eve, despite the clear and convincing evidence that was presented by Lake’s attorneys of massive voter disenfranchisement targeting Republicans and obviously false testimony by elections officials.
Prior to the trial, Thompson dismissed all counts of the lawsuit except for Count II and Count IV, regarding the massive failure of ballot-on-demand printers and tabulators on election day and the major chain of custody issues that could overturn the election.
Eight of ten counts alleging violation of freedom of speech ahead of the election, fraudulent signatures on mail-in ballot affidavits, discrimination against Republican voters, due process violation, unconstitutional mail-in ballot procedure, and improper certification were dismissed before trial.
Lake’s Notice of Appeal states, “Plaintiff appeals the final judgment entered December 27, 2022 (Exhibit A), denying all Plaintiff’s requested relief and dismissing the case… and all other orders and rulings in this matter.”
Lake’s Notice of Appeal states, “Plaintiff appeals the final judgment entered December 27, 2022 (Exhibit A), denying all Plaintiff’s requested relief and dismissing the case… and all other orders and rulings in this matter.”
The appeal includes the December 19 ruling, granting Defendants’ motions to dismiss in part.
The Gateway Pundit recently reported that Maricopa County and Katie Hobbs filed Motions for Attorney Fees and Sanctions against Kari Lake and her attorneys, seeking over half a million dollars, mostly for Marc Elias’ firm, from her legal team. Thompson denied the sanctions and Application for Attorneys’ Fees but still ordered Lake to pay Defendants’ taxable costs, including witness fees and ballot inspector fees.
Responding to the motions against her, Kari Lake told The Gateway Pundit, “While Katie Hobbs and Marc Elias continue their crusade to destroy free and fair elections in Arizona, my team and I will continue to move forward with our case showing overwhelming evidence of misconduct in the General election.”
Lake told Steve Bannon Tuesday, “we’re appealing this week.”
Kari Lake has appealed to Division 1 of the Arizona Court of Appeals. However, they also seek “direct review by the Arizona Supreme Court either by petition for emergency transfer or by special action.”
