Donald Trump was heard telling Joe Biden to “shut up” as the pair arrived at the White House before the inauguration ceremony, a lip reader has claimed

Donald Trump reportedly told Joe Biden to “shut up” as they met outside the White House before the inauguration ceremony, according to a lip reader.

The new US president, accompanied by his wife Melania, arrived at the White House on January 20 and was greeted by former President Biden and his wife Jill with a warm “Welcome home.”

However, expert lip reader Jeremy Freeman claims that amid comments about the freezing Washington weather, President Elect Trump told Mr Biden to “shut up”.

Trump greeted the Bidens, commenting: “How are you? It’s so cold. I need to do my coat up I’m freezing.”

Biden agreed, admitting he was “freezing too”. In response, Trump humorously retorted “shut up Biden”, adding that it was “colder than when we ski”.

Biden agreed with the 78-year-old, saying “I know, it’s hell” before announcing his intention to go inside. Trump echoed Biden’s sentiment, saying “yeah, me too”and the group of four then proceeded inside the White House for tea before Trump’s swearing-in at the Capitol Building later that day, reports the Irish Star..

As Trump embarks on his second term, Republicans assume unified control of Washington and plan to reshape the country’s institutions. He is expected to act swiftly post-ceremony, with executive orders prepared for his signature to initiate deportations, boost fossil fuel development, and reduce civil service protections for government workers.

An incoming White House official has announced that Donald Trump plans to issue a series of orders on his first day in office, aimed at overhauling America’s immigration policies – terminating asylum access, deploying troops to the southern border, and ending American birthright citizenship.

Earlier, Vice President Kamala Harris, who lost the presidential race to Donald Trump, greeted JD Vance and his wife Usha Vance, along with First Gentleman Doug Emhoff, at the White House.
