Maricopa County and Katie Hobbs Seek MORE THAN $500,000 For Hillary Attorney Marc Elias in Sanctions for Kari Lake and Her Lawyers

Katie Hobbs and Maricopa County have filed Motions for Sanctions and Applications for Attorneys’ Fees against Kari Lake and her attorneys following Lake’s lawsuit contesting the stolen 2022 Midterm Election, according to court records.
Katie Hobbs is asking for more than half a million dollars, mostly for corrupt Hillary attorney Marc Elias’ firm.
As The Gateway Pundit reported, gutless Judge Peter Thompson dismissed Kari Lake’s election lawsuit against Democrat Katie Hobbs in the stolen 2022 midterm election on Saturday, Christmas Eve.
As Rachel Alender for TownHall reported, “Judge Peter Thompson only gave her two days for a trial and issued his ruling immediately afterwards, even though he could have taken several days, and it was one of the biggest, most important cases in the country. Legal experts believe his decision was ghostwritten, they suspect top left-wing attorneys like Marc Elias emailed him what to say.”
The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on Kari Lake’s lawsuit to overturn the corrupt Midterm Election.
On Election Day in Maricopa County, over 50% of tabulators and printers failed the moment that polls opened, causing voters to be turned away from the polls and creating long wait times of four hours or more. This was a clear, intentional act aimed at disenfranchising Republican voters who turned out 3:1 for Trump-Endorsed candidates.
Corrupt Maricopa County Election Director Scott Jarrett was also busted changing his story and perjuring himself by lying about the ballot printer settings that caused tabulation failures and disenfranchised thousands of election day voters.
A Runbeck whistleblower revealed in Lake’s filing that HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of ballots had no chain of custody documentation. This is a shocking and massive violation of the law.
Twenty-five thousand ballots were added to Maricopa County’s totals after election day with no explanation of why the number of remaining ballots could increase. Also, tens if not HUNDREDS of thousands of mail-in ballots with mismatched signatures were illegally counted in violation of Arizona law.
We reported on a new discovery showing RINO Arizona House Speaker-elect Ben Toma’s clear conflict of interest and connection to Runbeck Election Services, the third-party company involved in the debacle outlined above.
However, despite all of this evidence of an irredeemably compromised election and intentional misconduct by elections officials, Maricopa County’s Motion for Sanctions states, “This matter was brought without any legitimate justification.” Further, they accuse Kari Lake of using the courts to fundraise and harass her opponents.
The County’s Motion concludes, “Courts are established by Arizona’s Constitution and statutes to resolve actual disputes between parties. They do not exist so that candidates for political office can attempt to make political statements and fundraise. And they should not be used to harass political opponents and sow completely unfounded doubts about the integrity of elections. All of those things happened in this matter. Enough really is enough. It is past time to end unfounded attacks on elections and unwarranted accusations against elections officials. This matter was brought without any legitimate justification, let alone a substantial one. The Maricopa County Defendants therefore ask this Court to impose sanctions against Plaintiff Kari Lake and her attorneys, Brian Blehm and Kurt Olsen.”
Hobbs’ legal team filed a Joinder in Maricopa County Defendants’ Motion For Sanctions against Kari Lake and her attorneys.
Hobbs’ Application for Attorneys’ Fees states, “Pursuant to A.R.S. § 12-349, Governor-Elect Katie Hobbs applies for an order awarding her reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred in defense of this action. The definite fees and expenses sought to be recovered equals $83,725.50; the estimated additional fees sought to be recovered equals $550,210.00. This application is supported by (1) the accompanying motion for sanctions and joinder in the Maricopa County Defendants’ memorandum of points and authorities and (2) the attached declarations of Alexis Danneman (“Danneman Declaration”) and Abha Khanna (“Khanna Declaration”).”
On the other hand, Maricopa County’s Application for Attorneys’ Fees states, “Having established that they are entitled to an award of attorney’s fees under A.R.S. § 12-349, the Maricopa County Defendants seek an award in the amount of $25,050. This includes $18,730 in fees to attorneys from the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office (“MCAO”), and $6,320 in fees to outside counsel Emily Craiger of the Burgess Law Group.” This is less than 5% of the amount that Katie Hobbs seeks for her attorneys.
Kari Lake War Room tweeted,
@katiehobbs wants Marc Elias well compensated for helping her destroy free and fair elections in Arizona. This is an attack on our First Amendment & the rule of law. Who will speak out against it?
Arizona’s undercover informant Columnated Election Denier slammed the defendants for letting Marc Elias work behind the scenes on elections relating their tactics to the Mafia.
The Gateway Pundit reported just before this historic trial that corrupt Obama Judge John Tuchi in Arizona ruled in favor of the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and sanctioned Kari Lake for exercising her right to petition Maricopa County. Tuchi waited months until after the stolen General Election to do this.
Tuchi even admitted that this order was intended to “send a message” to those who file what he considers “baseless” lawsuits in the future.
This is a developing Story
