State AG Sets Stage to Have All Biden Pardons, Exec Orders, Other Actions Legally Voided, The Reason Will Shock You

Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey is calling for an investigation into whether former President Joe Biden’s cognitive decline allowed his staff to push through executive orders, pardons, and other policies without his full awareness or approval. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Bailey expressed concerns that Biden’s mental state may have been exploited by unelected staff to enact radical policies, which he argues would render those actions unconstitutional and legally void.
Bailey attached a letter addressed to Michael Horowitz, the Department of Justice’s inspector general, in which he detailed his concerns. He cited reports that Biden’s staff and political allies, including former Vice President Kamala Harris and former Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, tightly controlled access to the president and limited his interactions and information sources. Bailey argued that this level of control raises questions about whether Biden was fully aware of the policies he was signing.
The attorney general pointed to House Speaker Mike Johnson’s account of a meeting with Biden in January 2024, during which Biden appeared unaware of a decision to pause liquefied natural gas exports, despite having signed the order. Johnson reportedly left the meeting concerned about who was actually running the country.
Bailey also referenced comments from Democratic National Committee fundraiser Lindy Li, who suggested that Biden’s staff, his wife, and his son Hunter Biden had significant influence over his presidency. Bailey emphasized that if Biden’s staff exploited his mental decline to push through policies, those actions would be invalid.
Bailey’s letter calls for an investigation to determine which of Biden’s executive orders and pardons were knowingly approved by a competent president and which were not. He argued that the American people deserve to know the truth about who was making decisions during Biden’s presidency.
This call for an investigation adds to ongoing debates about Biden’s mental acuity and the influence of his staff during his time in office. While some view Bailey’s claims as politically motivated, others see them as a legitimate concern about transparency and accountability in the executive branch. The Department of Justice has not yet responded to Bailey’s request.
