Authorities said they found an ISIS flag inside the truck driven by Samshud Din Jabbar, a 42-year-old suspect in a major case in New Orleans. Jabbar had a Glock pistol and a stolen .308 rifle from New Jersey, which had either a scope or a silencer, according to police.

The New Orleans Police Department is also looking for four or five other suspects who might be connected to the incident. Their names have not been released, and police are still figuring out their involvement.

The discovery of the ISIS flag has led to questions about the motive, but investigators have not yet called it terrorism. They are still collecting evidence and analyzing the situation.

Photos from the scene showed a flag on the truck’s tailgate, but it’s unclear if this was the ISIS flag or if the ISIS flag was only inside the truck.

The truck reportedly came into the U.S. from Mexico in November, but the driver in this incident was not the same person who originally brought the truck into the country.

Police have asked anyone with information to come forward as the investigation continues.
