Police in Gastonia were involved in a shooting after responding to an incident inside a home on Osceola Street.
Police told Channel 9 that a man shot another man, who was transported to the hospital. The suspect was then shot and killed by police.
Gastonia Police is also working to learn if the shooting was domestic-related or not. Police said a woman was present during the incident and suffered non-gunshot injuries.
The call was received just after 5 a.m. on Sunday for a man threatening a woman with a gun inside a home.
A Channel 9 crew could see a heavy police presence near the home where the shooting took place.
