Trump administration claims US is behind sinister ‘chemtrails’ programme once thought to be conspiracy theory

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who is currently the U.S. Health Secretary, has recently spoken about something many people used to call a conspiracy theory the idea of “chemtrails.” This theory claims that the government has been spraying harmful chemicals into the sky from airplanes on purpose, which is supposed to be bad for people’s health and the environment.
Most scientists say this theory is false. They explain that the white trails we see behind airplanes are just water vapor that freezes into ice crystals when planes fly through cold air at high altitudes. These trails are called contrails, and they are a normal result of jet engines.
Still, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. says he believes something more is going on. He called it a “mass uncontrolled experiment” and even said it’s hurting the environment and public health. He referred to it as a “crime against humanity” on social media and promised to stop it if possible.
In an interview on Dr. Phil, he said he believes certain materials are being added to jet fuel, and he wants to find out who’s behind it and hold them accountable. He made it clear that his agency Health and Human Services isn’t doing this. Instead, he suggested that DARPA, a secretive research agency within the Pentagon, might be involved.
The Trump administration has also talked about this topic publicly in the past, even though most experts have strongly denied that it’s true.
There have also been discussions in the UK about using similar technology like spraying particles into the atmosphere or brightening clouds but those are focused on fighting climate change by reflecting sunlight. The UK’s research agency recently announced over \$66 million in funding for projects in this area, though details haven’t been shared yet.
So while mainstream science says chemtrails aren’t real, some public figures, including Kennedy, are now taking the idea more seriously and calling for investigations.
