Trump has sharp 8-word response to anyone who regrets voting for him following latest approval ratings

Donald Trump has just completed his first 100 days back in the White House as President. To mark the occasion, he sat down for an interview with ABC News, where he spoke about what he’s done so far and how he feels about the reaction from the public.
During the interview, the conversation turned to the economy, which is a top concern for many Americans. The interviewer mentioned that some people who voted for Trump in the last election are now feeling uneasy about the direction things are going. Some even said they didn’t expect the changes that have happened and are now regretting their vote.
When asked how he would respond to those voters, Trump didn’t hold back. He gave a short and sharp answer: “Well, they did sign up for it, actually.” He made it clear that he believes people knew exactly what they were voting for when they chose him to be president again. He said the things he’s doing now — like putting tough trade rules in place and pushing back against other countries — were part of his promises from the start.
Trump explained that during his campaign, he talked a lot about how the U.S. was being taken advantage of by other countries, especially in trade. He said the situation was unfair and couldn’t continue, and that’s why he started putting tariffs on goods from countries like China. These tariffs are basically extra taxes on imports, and some experts say they could end up making life more expensive for American families. The interviewer told Trump that analysts are warning these tariffs might cost each household thousands of dollars more each year. But Trump didn’t seem worried. He said this is part of fixing the problem and claimed things are already improving.
He pointed to falling gas prices as an example. According to Trump, gas is now much cheaper in several states, even dropping below two dollars a gallon in some places. He also brought up the price of eggs, which had been really high at one point. He said that since he took office, the price of eggs has dropped by 87 percent, though he didn’t provide details on exactly how that happened.
Trump insisted that everything is going in the right direction. He told the American people not to worry and said that everything would work out fine in the end. He seemed confident that the steps he’s taking will help the country in the long run, even if things feel uncertain right now.
However, not everyone agrees with him. Two major polls were released around the same time as his 100-day mark, and the results weren’t great for Trump. One poll, done by ABC News, the Washington Post, and Ipsos, showed that Trump now has the lowest approval rating of any president at this point in their term in the last 80 years. More than half the people surveyed said they don’t approve of the way he’s doing his job.
Another poll, done by The New York Times and Siena College, found similar results. Only 42 percent of people said they approve of the job he’s doing, and 66 percent of them described his presidency so far as “chaotic.” That word—chaotic—suggests that many people think his leadership has been messy, unpredictable, or confusing.
Even with all the criticism and low approval ratings, Trump doesn’t seem bothered. He stood by his actions and reminded people that he talked about these changes long before the election. In his view, those who voted for him knew what he stood for and what kind of president he planned to be. Whether people agree with him or not, Trump made it clear he’s not planning to change course any time soon.
