Trump ruthlessly slams Joe Biden amid cancer diagnosis and calls out anyone who ‘feels sorry for him’

Donald Trump has spoken again about Joe Biden, this time reacting to the news that Biden has been diagnosed with a serious form of prostate cancer. This isn’t the first time Trump has commented on Biden’s health, but this time, his words were especially sharp and personal.
On May 18, Biden’s personal office released a public statement revealing that doctors had found a problem during a check-up. Biden had been having trouble with urination, which led doctors to do more tests. Those tests showed he had prostate cancer that had already spread to his bones. The cancer was described as very aggressive, with a Gleason score of 9, which is one of the highest scores a cancer can get. This means the cancer is very serious and spreads quickly. However, the doctors also said it is hormone-sensitive, which means there are still good options to manage and treat it. Biden and his family are now discussing what treatment to begin.
After the announcement, Biden shared a photo of himself, his wife Jill, and their cat on social media. In his message, he said that cancer touches everyone’s lives and that he and Jill have become stronger by going through difficult times. He thanked the public for all the love and support they were sending him and his family.
Donald Trump responded shortly after the news broke. He posted a message on his platform, Truth Social, saying that he and his wife Melania were saddened by the news. He wished Biden a quick and full recovery and sent warm wishes to Jill and the family. At first, this seemed like a kind and respectful message.
But not long after, Trump changed his tone. In another comment, he said he was shocked the public wasn’t told earlier about Biden’s cancer. He questioned why this information had been kept quiet for so long and seemed to suggest that the announcement had been delayed on purpose.
Then, during a press conference on May 30, Trump was asked again about Biden’s health. His answer this time was much more aggressive. He said that although Biden has always acted like a moderate or calm person, he believes Biden is actually mean-spirited. Trump said, “Not a smart person, but a somewhat vicious person.” He continued by saying people shouldn’t feel sorry for Biden because, in Trump’s view, Biden has caused harm to many people, especially political opponents. He said Biden has hurt others with his actions, so he personally doesn’t feel bad for him.
Trump didn’t stop there. He also accused the Biden administration of being made up of people who are destroying the country. He even called them “monsters” and said they are taking the nation in the wrong direction.
As Trump and some Republicans suggested that Biden’s team may have hidden the cancer diagnosis, Biden’s spokesperson strongly denied this. He explained that Biden had not been diagnosed with cancer before now and that his last prostate test was in 2014. Everything was shared publicly as soon as the doctors confirmed the news.
At the moment, Biden’s team has not released any more statements, but reporters have reached out for more comments.
This back-and-forth between Trump and Biden shows just how tense things still are between the two men, even as one of them deals with a serious health issue. While some people feel sympathy for Biden and praise him for being open about his diagnosis, others, like Trump, are using the moment to raise questions and criticisms.
