“What scientists discovered in the Chernobyl Forest shocked the whole music world. On April 25th and 26th, 1986, the worst nuclear accident in history unfolded in what is now Northern Ukraine as a reactor at a nuclear power plant exploded and burned.
Shrouded in secrecy, the incident was a watershed moment in both the Cold War and the history of nuclear power.
